I really like the ideas presented here, but like others, I still have some reservations about how realistic and safe this build is. I'm sure a lot of it hinges on proper scouting and responding correctly to varying amounts of aggression, but how to actually go about scouting with this build before the observers arrive could use more explanation.
Also, could you add a link to your WP channel? I'm sure many people would benefit from seeing the build in action.

Yes!
GCPL was a good start to the team league movement, but I didn't feel that it was produced or marketed to truly take advantage of the great team representation that they had. There was a fair bit of coverage across sites and a fair bit of marketing over Twitter, but it didn't quite feel as real or - dare I use the word? - epic as the GSTLs have been.
I'd really like to see a live team tournament in the west, and I think someone like MLG is in a great position to start something like this. A mere weekend would do, and if they combine the GSTL format with casters like Day[9], djWHEAT, and JP, I really can't see it not being amazing.

How does this differ from the CSL? Are these two leagues going to end up merging into ones big league ala the NFL and AFL? by illvm It's sanctioned by the CSL and the initial invitations were sent out using CSL rankings, but as I understand it, they're still very much separate events.
Also, I'll be there! Looking forward to meeting some great people. : )

I experience this to some degree or another all of the time, but it's particularly noticeable after not playing for a while.
To me, being afraid to ladder feels a lot like being afraid to jump into a cold swimming pool. I know it's safe, I know that the freezing feeling will go away after a few seconds, I know that the longer I wait, the more I'll psych myself out, and I know that I'm being a huge wimp for even hesitating, but it's just hard.
I guess you could do that thing where you start at the kiddie pool and slowly make your way in through custom games and team games, but that's still time that isn't being spent laddering. To be honest, I don't know if there's a better solution other than to just hold your nose, close your eyes, and cannonball.
2 in Getting over nerves -
Speedlings are the bane of my existence in ZvP (no pun intended). Good zergs that scout my 4 gate will pump speedlings and throw down spines and demolish me, and zergs with good control make me waste so many force fields when I attempt expand builds. Roaches are scary, but I can always outmaneuver them off-creep. Seeing a big pack of speedlings sprinting toward me, though, just fills me with dread.

The issue that I see here is that speedlings and hydralisks have vastly different move speeds, which makes it seem like something must have been done to compensate for that. Did the Z have extremely good creep spread or use drops/nydus to initiate? If not, it seems to me that a protoss army should be more mobile than a hydralisk army, and you should have been able to outmaneuver your opponent. Could you post a replay?

I managed to catch almost all of the show, and despite it being the very first show, everything seemed to run just as smoothly as your voice, Cats. I'm looking forward to more, and everyone else should be, as well!
