There's a difference between innate understanding and actual considered understanding. My brain knows that the word Barracks begins with a B, perhaps I subconsciously pressed the button when not actually considering what was going on. However when I actually took the time to think about how to build a Barracks my brain refused to acknowledge what was going on. It's very similar to what tennis players call "choking" in which they over think what comes to them naturally and are thereby unable to perform even the most basic actions, such as a serve, in this case the word Barracks. Try thinking about how you go to sleep, just before actually trying to sleep. I think you'll find this is a very easy way to end up with a half hour less sleep. As you can tell I'm very passionate that this is not a series that is "put on." If you actually attempted to be an idiot throughout the entire thing I believe that would be a very difficult façade to put on convincingly.

I use Fraps. It takes up one hell of a lot of space but that's not to big of a bother for me considering I just shove it on an external hard drive and only keep the end film products.

Keep it up. I've been watching a bit of it myself :) I'm in a similar state of trying to learn how to play, currently in bronze league.
