I didn't take it as fucking fact. Read my goddamn comment again
I SERIOUSLY doubt that even despite what SlayerS Jessica insists, BoxeR nor Cella would allow a Gold levelled player on their roster. Must have gotten the wrong character ID tbh. However, if it's true and SlayerS Eve is a Gold levelled player, then Cella surely has a plan to train her up to be the next MMA.
What does this mean? I'm skeptical about it myself, considering you apparently needed to be mid Diamond League when SlayerS first started to even be considered entry into the team (that is to have your case looked at by the team members), and this was back when Master and Grandmaster League didn't exist I think.
What I mean is if Eve is Gold 1v1 as some unknown source on TeamLiquid you cited may have suggested, she must have had a really unlucky stint on ladder, either that or Korean ladder is REALLY hard.
Then again, ladder points and league only say part of the story. For all we know, she might hate 1v1s or Ladder in general, and may have impressed both SlayerS_Jessica (and later the other players on the team) if she got all the way in because of playing at at an ameteur tournament.

Really? A Gold levelled player in Team SlayerS? If that's true then why the fuck haven't I been signed up by a progaming team yet seeing as I'm also a high Gold levelled player on EU servers and haven't recieved any pro-gamer team practice and very little actual coaching to get this far.

Welcome to The Slag Pits!!
A new podcast/show all about Starcraft 2, eSports and Tech, including news, 2 specific topics varying each week, with segments such as Troll of the Week and Starcraft Scenes We'd Like To See among others. With our uber gosu SlamHam's (all explained on the debut!)
Starcraft Scenes We'd Like To See? So will it be similar to the similarly named segment on Mock The Week but rather Starcraft themed? Because I hate to burst your bubble but jokes can be quite risky because the only reason why MTW and other panel shows really work as a format is because their material is written by a team of writers.
It's a risk but if you can pull off some funny stuff, then by all means go for it.
It will be a video podcast/show similar to others around at the moment it will be myself and 3 guests of varying level and skill (also changing each week) the aim of the show is fun to bring some humour and spice to what is going on in the scene! Also while were getting started were open to suggestions and trying alot of new stuff so let us know, my aim is to make this show very viewer engaging after all you all get a SlamHam!
It's basically State Of The Game and Weapon Of Choice but have more of an emphasis on witty banter about the Starcraft progaming scene? I think there are quite a few shows like this already but then again, the scene isn't oversaturated with them.
So come on all from far and wide let's try something different something exciting! :-)
I might watch this just to see how it pans out.

- Play in afternoons and evenings during European time. Looking for ideally platinum or above practice partners. Also play other 2 races reasonably well.

Self-analysis will only get you so far, although by so far, I still mean a considerable distance.
And who knows, perhaps paid coaching would give you an insight into how a highly ranked or even professional player improves.

I remember the SCReddit community cooking up a shitstorm over the decision to let iNcontroL and Gretorp cast the final series in the NASL, however, having watched the MC vs PuMa game myself, I think both casters did an excellent job at commentating the game. I mean we get it, Tasteless, Artosis and Day[9] are fan favourites but I think it was a great swan song for the two to end the season with.

I think you mean Sunken Colonies.
And they weren't exactly the same. For starters:
- They had to be mutated from Creep Colonies
- They did not have the ability to unroot and reroot in a different place.
However, I would agree that Sunken Colonies did feel more powerful than Spine Crawlers. I even liked the fact that they held off zergling/marine/zealot aggression well.

I'm shocked that OPISMASTERS_FYI was even a WellPlayed employee. Nonetheless, I don't think what he did against Teevox and Shade even had anything to do with WellPlayed as an organisation so I don't think it'd be fair to point fingers at this place. Sure he seemed to promote WP a bit in his comments but I wouldn't have suspected this in the slightest.
However, I cannot blame you all for firing him over this. What he did was unacceptable, pure and simple.
I thought that even if Teevox were still going as a company that was behind WarpPrism, OPISMASTERS_FYI would have still unleashed an undeserved shitstorm upon jakefrink based on what happened with Shade until the moment he resigned. His argument for calling Teevox an "elaborate scam on the Starcraft community" was just flawed at best. JTV pre-roll ads were only blocked for technical reasons which jakefrink is trying to resolve with them as we speak and even if Teevox were still a three-year-old company, does it even matter? Even worse, it was just the regurgitated comment of another Redditor that he sensationalised with the intention to go on another witch hunt. I am glad that SCReddit is behind all this and actually saw past the sensationalism.
WellPlayed is technically a company offering a service (namely WellPlayed.tv, the production work for both the NASL and IPL and the WellPlayed website and forums), would that be a legitimate excuse to go on a witch hunt against the WellPlayed staff because it's the work of (gasp) a company?
No, that is simply not an acceptable reason to go on a witch hunt. I would have had respect for jakefrink even if Teevox/WarpPrism were operating as the product of a company.

Region segregation sucks when you have to purchase new game licences in order to play on another region's servers, or in the case of KR servers, you must have a Korean SSN too apparently.
Clearly, Mike Morhaime has proposed a half-arsed, money grubbing solution to the issue of cross-region support, buy another $50 copy of the bloody game....

In my opinion:
Jinro is truly on a slump at the moment. He's proven that he has potential by reaching the Ro4 in Code S in one of the previous GSLs, but since he has dropped into the depths of Code A.
HuK has amazing potential. He not only won Dreamhack Summer but also Homestory Cup III as well, even beating the Kratoss himself, MC in a PvP, a matchup which he apparently doesn't lose.
Nazgul hasn't really done anything at all. I think he's more of a team manager than anything, although he's been doing a lot for the TL website too.
TLO cannot play due to severe carpal tunnel syndrome. Shame becuase he is a very talented and well mannered Terran player.
HayprO is apparently a good Zerg player but nobody has seen anything in terms of good results from him lately. However, he was apparently a brilliant Brood War player.
Tyler shows infrequent streaks of good results but otherwise falls flat. He did earn the accomplishment of being the only TeamLiquid player to not get knocked out in the Ro32 of the TSL3, so he definitely deserves that accomplishment.
As for Ret, he's reached #1 in the regular season of the NASL, just to have PuMa rise from the open tournament without dropping a single game and absolutely disembowl him like a true cougar would do towards its prey. His results have been good but he's no IdrA.

Pretty good. Your channel needs a lot more viewers to be perfectly honest, though I agree with gosucrew's comment and say your voice lacks a bit of charisma.
On a good note though, you do speak fluidly and barely use any pausing words like "errr", "uummmm" etc which break the action and aren't really very good for broadcasting. You also seem to have acceptable analysis of the game..

Not very likely seeing as some of the community migrated to /r/starcraft2 before the moderator in question resigned. Besides, most of the angry mob after him were from /r/gaming, and they harassed him a pretty significant deal to convince him to resign. Things such as:
- Sending password reset requests on his accounts on other sites.
- Posting his personal information online, this which was quickly cracked down upon by other moderators of respective subreddits.
- Posting rude messages towards him.
Having said this, resigning was the only way to make it blow over, and while what he did was a major fuck-up, I do have some sympathy for him because of what other community members put him through. I don't mean the whole Reddit community but rather certain overly-vocal members of it.
On that note. I think some redditors have already migrated to WellPlayed in the way that it was started originally by some of the SCReddit event organisers and that it is one of the main websites (TeamLiquid and /r/starcraft included) for people to browse about SC2.
