&feature=player_embeddedI can't say if these strategies are the future of protoss or not but I like where NEXSickness's head is at! The elevator Immortal seems so blatantly obvious. Roach/ling can't shoot up right. Queens are at home. Where have these strats been? I hope this inspires protoss to break away from the deathball. I know it has inspired me.
You ask where these strats have been?
I'm sure most of the pros have tried strats like this, but they lack the consistency to be seen often in the GSL or at lan events. I'm sure as time goes on we will see a bit more of them but it's much easier to do this on ladder when if it messes up 5 times and works once it's fine. In a professional match it's better to play safe in general.
However at this mlg I think it was wbc who did try the warp prism sentry play against puma I believe but puma fended it off no problem.
All that being said, those are two pretty sick videos.
