I've personally been working my way through this article, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. It's both motivational and instructive, and practicing on the ladder has become much more fruitful. Highly recommended.

All credits go to CecilSunkure, TimeSpiral, and EZPikachu, of course. Huge props to them for writing this.

Pages:

It's quite a read, but it really is worth it. There's an awful lot of good information for anyone who's looking to improve. I'm sure even diamond level players will find useful advice.

There's definitely a lot of things that can be useful for diamond level players, and I would argue for master league players as well.

If your the sort of person who is well versed in learning things quickly, ore your a relatively high level player, i don't think there is anything to learn from this guide.

However if you are the sort of person that doesn't enjoy picking up new skills quickly, or never bothered to put in the time figuring out how learning works then there's a lot of good to be gleaned from this guide. The dichotomy of this situation is that people who don't care about learning to learn, probably wont bother reading, and those who already have a solid grasp won't Learn anything new from reading.

Hope I'm flat out wrong, but from 15 years of teaching/coaching experience that's just the way it plays out with most people. hopefully the small % of people who are in-between these two camps will get a lot out of it though.

On Cecil's part the guide is a wonderful work, and its obvious he put a lot of time and effort into it.

Thanks Cecil :) I'm not sure if you remember me, but it was pretty cool seeing you at Gameclucks, playing against MSIFnaticKR. But, this was a really well written article! Great read, and also props for showing me that colossi do no damage unless their animation is complete. Good stuff man.

This is like the encyclopedia of improving at SC2.

This seems like a pretty condensed version of the .pdf guide that was put out a little bit ago. The guide I'm referring to is 110 pages, and is pretty in depth. If you find this interesting I would go look for it. Unfortunately I don't have a link for it but a simple Google search should help. :)

This is a great article which really puts a lot of things together in one spot. Many of these tips are out there somewhere however beginners have a tough time putting all the information they hear together.

Very clear and well written! It's certainly helping me a lot.

It's a really good read, I'd definitely recommend for everyone that even remotely cares about getting better to give it a shot and try to read through the whole thing.

I got a few good nuggets out of it. I lot of that I already knew. Definitely saved for future linking to newbies asking to get better. :P

Thanks for posting this. Haven't played for a while and was contemplating getting back into the game. I'm a super noob at the game so I need all the help I can get :)
